The Challenge: How do you fit a luxury pool, spa, and workout zone into a compact backyard without sacrificing the entire lawn?

The Solution: We designed a 14’x16’ Tiny Pool and spa that works harder, not larger. To preserve yard space, we installed a custom-engineered sliding deck cover featuring Azek Timbertech decking. This allows the family to reclaim their square footage for parties or play whenever the pool isn't in use.

Smart Tech & Effortless Maintenance: To ensure this pool is as easy to own as it is to enjoy, we equipped it with a comprehensive suite of "set-it-and-forget-it" technology, including:

Dual-Stage Sanitation: We paired a saltwater chlorine generator with a UV system. This combination drastically reduces chemical maintenance while ensuring the water remains crystal clear and soft on the skin.
Perfect Temperature Year-Round: In Austin, water temperature matters. We installed a natural gas heater for quick pool and spa heating in the colder months, and an electric pool chiller to keep the water refreshing during the triple-digit summer heat.
Total Control: With Pentair automation, the homeowners can manage lighting, temperature, and water features directly from their smartphones.
Convenience Features: An autofill system monitors and maintains water levels automatically (no hoses required), while the Badu Turbo swimjet transforms this compact plunge pool into an endless lap lane for daily workouts.

Design Details: The aesthetic is defined by a dark and moody water color, achieved using Black Mini Pebble plaster. This deep tone allows the custom tile work to pop—specifically the Fireclay 3x12 waterline and spa wall tile in 'Clover,' and the stunning hand-painted Fireclay 'Persian Star' pattern adorning the sun shelf.
