Tucked into the heart of Austin’s Bouldin Creek neighborhood, this custom Tiny Pool proves that limited space doesn’t mean limited possibilities. Our clients came to us after unsuccessful attempts with other builders, each stymied by the site’s complex conditions that our team loves to tackle (from strict tree protection zones to overhead powerline clearances).

Through thoughtful design and expert navigation of Austin’s permitting process, we found the perfect solution: placing the pool in the side yard of the corner lot, nestled between a protected tree and utility lines. The result is a striking 8x15-foot wellness plunge that’s become the centerpiece of our clients’ personal retreat — complete with a sauna, shaded lounge areas, and space for mindful relaxation.

Every design element was selected with intention. The interior finish is Hydrazzo in Black Maui, chosen for its silky texture and rich, reflective depth. The handmade 4x4 zellige-style tile from Popham Design in the color Bark lends warmth and organic character, inspired by the rooftop pool at Soho House Rome.

Beneath its serene surface lies sophisticated technology: full automation, a natural gas heater for year-round comfort, and a UV + ozone sanitation system for crystal-clear, low-chemical water.

What began as a tricky site became a showcase of creative problem-solving, and a daily ritual of wellness, right in the middle of Austin.
