Nestled among the Heritage trees in the historic Tarrytown neighborhood of Austin, this project presented a unique challenge: designing a modern pool that respected the site's natural beauty and history. The result is a stunning backyard oasis that harmonizes with the extensive remodel of the classic home.

Working closely with our design-savvy clients, every detail was carefully considered to meet her discerning eye for both function and aesthetics. The design process prioritized preserving the magnificent Heritage trees and adhering to strict impervious cover requirements and utility clearances.

The 14'x25' pool (which includes a 5'x6' attached spa and 8'x5' sun shelf) offers a perfect blend of style and utility. A gentle slope from a 3'6" shallow end to a 6' deep end makes the pool versatile for both relaxation and recreation. The interior features StoneScapes Mini Pebbles in Tahoe Blue, a finish that gives the water a rich, deep hue. The meticulous detailing continues with Ann Sacks Savoy (Lantern) tile and Buff Lueders coping, which provide a soft, elegant contrast.

Equipped with a heater, automation, and an automatic cover, the pool is not only beautiful but also simple to maintain and enjoy year-round. This Tarrytown retreat is a testament to how careful design can create a functional, elegant space that honors its surroundings.
